Kathryn "Kaddy" Lee-Preston (born 1978), is a British meteorologist and broadcaster. Born in Yorkshire, "Kaddy" was a nickname she gained while growing up in Saudi Arabia 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Q and A with Kaddy Lee-Preston )〕 She was educated at Bradfield College and Reading University She trained as a meteorologist at the Met Office, spending time as a forecaster for various gas & electricity companies and football teams. She was also a weather forecaster for war zones for Harrier planes at RAF Cottesmore.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=About Kaddy )〕 Before she joined the newly launched BBC South East in September 2001 as part of the launch team for ''South East Today''.
